Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube I watched the all-star game this weekend on youtube and, oh man, was that ever an exciting game (for the west at least). The West All Stars jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first with an excellent goal by Rotzbua (assists from Malik and Ovi). However, the East kept the pressure up on the West and after the first period had more than doubled the West in shots (14-6). The second period was much the same until the West got a 5 on 3 powerplay and made quick work of it to extend their lead to 2 with 5 minutes left in the second. Tendy had been fantastic up to this point but could he withstand the torrent shots coming his way for another period? As we got into the third period, the West took a few bad penalties and gave the East an opportune moment to tie up the game, however, the East couldn't stay disciplined and took a whole bunch of penalties themselves, one which resulted in the West scoring yet again halfway through the third. The East just couldn't stay out of the penalty box from that point on and that's what finally did them in. By the final horn, Tendy had posted a remarkable 29 save shutout against the best of the best and the West took the game 3-0. (227 words) 8. 6. Write a Deep Dive 7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube Today the Newfoundland Berserkers played the Kelowna Knights, a team we have not had much success against. Our first period showed how tentative and gun shy the Northern BC powerhouse had made us. Not able to generate much, and fell behind a goal in the 15th minute by Clan McFelter. Goalie Hugo Gronroos stood on his head to ensure we went into the 2nd period down only one goal. The 2nd period was an entirely different story, as we came flying out with a goal 53 seconds into the period. This was followed up by a second goal, in a period that surely befuddled the Knights, as they outshot the Zerks 9-4 in the period, but gave up 2 goals. Kelowna did not back down, unleashing a barrage of hits in order to try to turn the momentum in their favour, but this bullying had little effect. The Zerkers would dominate the 3rd, as has been the trend this season. Limiting the Knights to 2 shots, and dumping 12 of their own on the opposing net, the Zerkers got a much-needed insurance goal from the captain and fearless leader Vaseline Podcalzone. Zerkers would win 3-1 @visceralpotamus Graded! 3 Tasks for 3,000,000 and a 1,000,000 bonus for completing all your tasks. Great work! - MCP ![]() ![]() Registered Certified Swiss Cheese

The stream on 3/8/21 saw the Armada take on the Knights as the first match of the night. Kelowna struck first, in the first period, but Armada would come back and tie it late in the second period. A goalie duel for sure, both teams had their chances but the tendies would keep the score tied until the very final minute, where new big trade piece Jean Locke Zidane would score with 59 seconds left! A huge ballbuster which saw the knights lose out on a point they likely thought was in the bag. The Armada would then score again in the final minute, not even an empty net which is strange and the Armada took it 3-1. My player Ville Kurri was actually the third star with a powerplay goal and an assist! A huge moment for the rookie that will hopefully build confidence going into the playoffs. @SlashACM Graded! 4 Tasks for 4,000,000, and 1,000,000 for completing all your tasks. Task 7, my experience watching a Sim.
As part of my rookie tasks, I decided to watch a couple of live sims during the playoffs. Being a mobile user, I figured it wouldn't be too terrible to watch on the YouTube app. Boy, was I wrong. It was really difficult to tell what was happening during the fast play, which I could imagine would be a bit difficult on a computer given the speed. However, I think it would be easier to read everything. It was nice when play would slow down, but it was still very difficult to read what was actually going on. I was mostly just looking for colored diamonds to pop up, and then hope I'd see orange flashing in the bottom left. So, with that said, here's my experience watching a few Carolina Kraken games in the playoffs. Usually it had Vancouver getting a lot more shots than us. I'm not really sure who was getting the shots, given the difficulty of reading it on mobile. Our two away games were brutal. There was a lot more gray flashing than orange flashing. It made me sad. Our next two home games were great. They still out shot us, but there was more orange flashing than gray. I still don't know who scored, though. I don't think I'll be watching any more sims for a while. Graded, one task for $1 mil, with one to go! Money is on its way @wumaduce ![]() ![]() Registered Senior Member
