I will not, but thank you for the correction. Most of my essay level English is self taught, I did not do well at it in high school so I tried to improve it after that. I appreciate the knowledge!

Sorry to interrupt the bing bong ding dong but I google'd it to be doubly sure, it's actually versus and not just verse, my bad

Vice

Mayor revealed, wolves eat villager X hoping to hit a vital role, possibly stopping the seer getting another night of info and removing the last 2 nights of information gathered

A seer will not come out until night 5 or 6 most likely after a few kills and things get tense around him. Wolves would be foolish to kill a known vanilla villager vice an unknown that could have a power

but said random could just as easily be jester, exe, or another vanillager. its not like its lategame where there are like 3 dudes left lol, wolves should want to keep us in complete disarray.

also, youre the first person ive met who says vice instead of versus, never heard it before

We can continue this later as giving wolves strategy right before a kill phase is poor gameplay.

I've been using Vice for years, but ACC just pointed out that it's actually incorrect so this is the first time I've been called on it. Knowledge is power!

i thought it was an actual thing lol i mean it doesnt sound THAT odd

you're right on us not talking on what thr wolves should do anymore, though lmao
Code:
There is a preposition vice, more common in the 18th and 19th century. It is similar to the prefix vice represented in titles like vice president and vice principal, and means (Merriam-Webster):

: in the place of / "I will preside, vice the absent chairman"

Here's another example from the Oxford English Dictionary:

1886 C. E. Pascoe London of To-day (ed. 3) xi. 111 It was..soon afterwards reorganized, with Mr. Randegger, vice Mr. Leslie, as conductor.

In both forms, the preposition is preceded by a comma and takes a (usually personal) object.

So you could technically say "I will use this product, vice the other one" to mean you'll use this product instead of the other one. However, the preposition has dropped out of use in the 20th century except in military contexts, so there's a high risk of being misunderstood.

This is basically my usage, which I was also using it incorrectly as I was not using the comma. Apparently it has dropped off in present day English according to some random person on Quora, so that means it is 100% accurate

Hockeyiscool is sent off to the guillotine with a sad look on his face.

HIC gets to the gallows and laughs. He looks around and says, "don't you idiots remember electing me? How thick are you?"

He steps off the stage and goes to his room, slamming the door behind him.

I'm terrible at getting pictures to work on here, especially on mobile, so I'm just gonna explain it's the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail where the peasant says he didn't vote for King Arthur, thanks for being so understanding guys
