Its a bit of a gamble tho, if the escort doesnt come out. Could be dead already, or we could even potentially random lynch him today.

Wouldn't the latter just be another reason to stall?
I thought he meant use the escort to not get a night kill. Not to not do a lynching, since he said 'stall for a night'.
We can hold off on lynching today, to make sure we don't accidentally kill the escort, and give the seer another free night of investigation. Hope he finds something, and lynch a confirmed wolf tomorrow.

thats what i meant - stall out a night with no kills, no lynch, to get some seer action goin
but I want death and destruction, not well thought out gameplay...
Seems like the safest plan. Only thing that could potentially fuck us over is the escort being out already. But I guess thats a risk we have to take.
now then, the question is: who do we want looked at?
