I find it odd that I play one game of werewolf and die first night and now I 'always die first'.
I mean, yes it is 100% of the time but like
the sample size is literally one
Okay see that does sound odd now. I was going off of everyone else's comments, and to me it seemed like something that happened at least twice in a row. Not just one off and suddenly it's your thing, which would be a pretty shitty thing.

"It's equally likely that the werewolves thought we'd lynch him anyway for that thought and planned around it" Sorry for poorly wording it, but this was meant to say that the werewolves may have thought, after the first day's discussion, that the townspeople would find it suspicious to see Geck alive after the first night and done the wolves' dirty work for them by lynching them because of said suspicions. This isn't "hardcore defending" anyone, this is trying to be aware of all the information we can be.
For what it's worth, mook was the first one to jump on Flappy's suggestion of lynching Geck first. Also, he hasn't stopped being goofy, considering he's since gone on to accuse Evok and continued supporting the Geek/Geck connection.

I can see Mook being the jester, tho he's making it a bit too obvious if he really is.
Could also be a wolf tactic to make us hesitant to lynch him, or even a villager tactic to start conversation

@Durden i'm voting GeckoeyGecko to start a discussion.
I've been very vocal in these games in the past and just want to go for a bit of a different approach this time and be a bit quieter. Also as someone who likes getting discussions started early and even pushes for a day one lynch regularly, I found these new rules that basically prevent that to be quite deflating. Combine that with the fact that vanilla villager isn't the most exciting role and you have yourself a rather unmotivated RED for now :D

It's rough because nothing will be known from any special knowledge unless someone comes forward with it, and there's no reason to do that because it puts a target on your back immediately.

Sorry, first game here, what exactly is different about this game compared to others in the past?

Vanilla isn't really a claim imho, it's basically the default role that everyone has attributed to them unless proven/accused otherwise.

It's not early at all. Everyone is assumed to claim themselves as vanilla until otherwise stated, no issue with somebody just outright saying it
