Welcome to the 2nd entry of this week. With entry number 17 we have the Philadelphia Forge.

Between S62 and S76 the Philadelphia Forge has drafted a total of 31 players, 2 were not in the portal and 7 got into the junior league from the waiver draft. Outside of this 4 players do not have a position in the portal anymore.

Let’s start once again with the season that the players got drafted in. The only season the Forge has drafted nobody is S72, but S63, S69, S73, and S75 only saw 1 player go to the Philadelphia Forge. S62, S66, S68, and S70 have 2 players drafted each. 3 players went to the Forge in S64, S65, S67, and S76. Finally S74 saw 5 draftees going to Philadelphia.



Now onto the round they were drafted into the SHL. The first 2 rounds both see 12 players each going to the Forge, with the 3rd round having 4 players go, 2 players in the 4th round, and 1 final player in the 5th round. The 3rd round is quite small compared to most other teams, barely having more than the 4th + 5th round combined.



Now the position of the players, which will only have 27 players as 4 have an unknown position in the portal. 8 of these 27 were right wingers, while 6 more are centers. Not far behind come the defensive positions with 5 right defense, and 4 left defense skaters. 3 of the draftees with goalies, and finally 1 single left winger went to the Forge.



Next up we are going to be looking at the junior league drafts, and in which round the Philadelphia Forge draftees were taken in that one. Both the not in portal, and waiver players will not be included, meaning only 22 players are left. Almost half of these players went in the 2nd round, with 10 players going in that round. The 1st and 3rd round has 5 players each, while the 4th and 5th round have 1 each.



Now the junior teams the players came from, in which only the not in portal players won’t be included, which are only 2, so 29 players are left. The Anchorage Armada has a massive 8 of these players, while  5 came from both the Carolina Kraken, and the Maine Timber. The Kelowna Knights, Newfoundland Berserkers, and Vancouver Whalers had 2 players going to Philadelphia, while finally the Colorado Raptors, Detroit Falcons, Great Falls Grizzlies, Quebec City Citadelles, and Regina Elk had 1 player going to the Forge.



Finally with the Philadelphia Forge added we now have 17 teams in the chaotic Junior to SHL team overview.
